I’m David Miller and I'm from Delaware! I'm really into Materials science engineering, and sustainable energy/engineering. Despite my hard focus in engineering as my career, I'm extremely passionate about social issues, energy and the climate, and engineering education for communities underrepresented in STEM. I'm really happy to be here and am excited to get to know you all!

Hi, I am Olivier Lafontant- Joseph. My ethnicity is Haitian-American (however, I suck at speaking French even after 6 years of classes). I am from Chandler, Arizona, and I am excited to be a part of CC. I plan on majoring in Course 5-7 (Chemistry-Biology) and then go on to pursue a Ph.D. I might try to double major in Course 14-2 (Mathematical Economics). My hobbies are video games (My favorite series are the Nier and Kingdom Hearts franchise), rhythm games (primarily osu!), horror films, and anime. I also really enjoy music from both a listening perspective (can get down with almost any genre if it slaps) and a performance perspective ( I am an out-of-practice alto sax player).

My name is Ty Todd and I’m from State College, PA. In my free time, I like to hack up projects like video games, home assistants, apps, and useless robots. I also enjoy watching anime, Game of Thrones, and the MCU. My academic interests are AI, robotics, blockchain, and entrepreneurship. Currently, I am majoring in course 6-4 (AI + Decision Making) with a minor in mechanical engineering.

Hey y’all, I’m Theo, short for Thelonious. I was named after the famous jazz pianist of the same name. Perhaps by fate, music has been a very important part of my life. I grew up in Cambridge, MA right in MIT’s backyard and then moved out to Las Vegas just before I entered high school (no, I didn’t live in a casino). I have a wide variety of interests. From playing bass and guitar, to drawing, to being bad at basketball, I’ve always had lots of hobbies. As far as academics goes, I’ve always been really into mathematics and engineering, and captained my high school robotics team. For university I’m interested in EE/CS and Aero/Astro as majors. I’m not sure what I’ll end up doing but I know it will involve building cool stuff.

I am Wilhem Hector, from Port-au-Prince, Haiti. My country is commonly called the Pearl of the Caribbean for its breathtaking natural beauty and also the people it creates. Like many other Haitians, I value human relationships, social interaction and community service. My life is pretty much divided between these three aspects. I love organizing and partaking in large scale events, traveling around the world, and talking about it. Outside of my academics, I play basketball, enjoy cooking , and run the Hector Foundation. I hope to become a Mechanical Engineer someday, to develop and build wind farms across the Caribbean. I look forward to writing some of the best chapters of my life in Chocolate City.

My name is Isaac Taylor and I’m from Washington, DC. My hobbies include playing tenor saxophone, drawing and graphic design, anime, and following the NBA. Academically, I am a 6-3 major interested in software engineering. I really enjoy programming and learning about computers, but have the most experience with front end development (though I am expanding my horizons). I also plan to minor in music, and am part of the MIT Festival Jazz Ensemble.
